We learn lessons from the choices our clients make every day. How do they manage multiple and competing demands? How do they find the courage to do the right thing when the easy one is calling? How do they know when to lead and when to follow? How do they claim a desired future instead of waiting around to see what’s left over after others have chosen… Recently some of our clients have been choosing to distinguish their brand in a crowded marketplace. They’re carefully considering the promise their brand makes to their customers and how they deliver on these promises through the customer experiences they create – and co-create, with people inside and outside their organization. And that’s just what we did. We took some time to stop and think about how we might apply these lessons to our consulting organization - to the work we do with our clients, and we asked ourselves: What is the promise we are making to our clients? Answering this question led us to re-examine our identity - to reach for a new brand that more accurately reflected our aspirations and the work we feel called to do. Work we have been proud to do. Work our clients most appreciate and can benefit from. It is work that has a lasting impact. Work that supports our clients in achieving sustainable success. It is in this work that we are who we most aspire to be. And so we’re proud to announce the re-founding of our company as “Lasting Impact”, and our being in the business of “Sustained Success.”
We’re excited by the changes this has led to in our thinking, practices, and partnering with our clients. We invite you to join us in your own soul-searching – even and perhaps especially if you feel clear about the promise you’re making to your customers. It was from a point of great clarity about the promises we make to our clients and their expectations of us that we “re-found” ourselves. Answering these questions led to insights and an exciting path to our future for us. We hope they do the same for you. |
